Mai Moxi is a Liberian- American Cleveland, OH native R&B, Neo-Soul, Hip Hop artist based in Denver, CO. Mai's “femcee" (female- emcee) flare is displayed in her sing/ rap style she coins as "SAP". Her eclectic sound and sultry stanzas are reminiscent of old school RnB groups like Xscape & SWV mixed with her hometown Cleveland, OH legends, Bone Thugs n Harmony. Producers like J. Dilla, Alchemist & MF Doom are the underlining DNA of Mai Moxi’s beat selection and appreciation for Hip Hop. Mai’s biggest musical influences include Cleveland, OH native Kid Cudi, Lauryn Hill, Erykah Badu, Curren$y and Kendrick Lamar. Mai Moxi is a two time CU Boulder alumna '20 with a Bachelor of Arts: Social Science & Chinese and a  Masters of Business Administration degree from Leeds School of Business at CU Boulder '25. Mai's love for Chinese literature, sustainable fashion  & Wu-Tang Clan led her to create her ventures Guwala da Nele and The Swap Life, a streetwear clothing rental platform.
